Lion Dance Brings Extra Luck: Sonoma County Photo Of The Week
Patch loves photos! Share your photos with your local Patch, and your work could be featured.

ROHNERT PARK, CA — A lion dance event performed by LionDanceMe was recently held at Graton Resort & Casino to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
Commemorating the Year of the Tiger, the event was held Saturday and featured eight lions to bring extra luck to casino guests. The number eight is believed to be the luckiest number in China because it is associated with good fortune.
LionDanceMe specializes in lion dance, music and entertainment. It was founded in 2012 by Norman Lau, who took traditional Chinese cultural art and transformed it into a modern entertainment company. Originally started as a single high school club, LionDanceMe has since expanded and added programs in schools all around the San Francisco Bay Area.
