Local CHP Hosts One-Day Drug Drop-Off & Car Seat Check
Clean out your medicine cabinet and have free safety seat inspection on Sept. 27.
Announcement from the City of Healdsburg:
On Saturday September 27th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the California Highway Patrol, Santa Rosa Area and the US Drug Enforcement Administration will provide the public the opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription and over the counter drugs.
Bring your medications for disposal to the CHP office at 6100 LaBath Ave. in Rohnert Park. This service is free and anonymous.
In addition, the CHP will also be providing free child safety seat check-ups. Officers have found that in most cases, child safety seats are installed incorrectly.
