Local High School Students Awarded College Scholarships by Santa Rosa Plaza and Coddingtown Mall
The recipients are Isabella Niedermair and Tess Caldwell, both recent graduates of Analy High School in Sebastopol.
Santa Rosa Plaza and Coddingtown Mall, both Simon centers, today announced two local college scholarship winners. Simon Youth Foundation (SYF), a national nonprofit that champions educational opportunities for students of all backgrounds, provides the scholarships. Each year, SYF awards a scholarship to a deserving student that lives within 50 miles of a Simon property.
The recipient of Santa Rosa Plaza’s scholarship is Isabella Niedermair, a recent graduate of Analy High School in Sebastopol. She plans to attend Colorado College this fall. Also a recent graduate of Analy High School in Sebastopol, the recipient of Coddingtown Mall’s scholarship is Tess Caldwell. She plans to attend Western Washington University this autumn.
Niedermair and Caldwell are the recipients of the Simon Youth Foundation Community Scholarships. This $1,500 scholarship is awarded to individuals based on academic achievement, financial need and leadership involvement at school as well as within their surrounding community.

“Simon Youth Foundation is a national organization, but we can feel the benefit of its efforts right here at home,” said Christa Williams, director of marketing and business development at Santa Rosa Plaza.
“We are incredibly proud to award these scholarships to Isabella and Tess as they continues their studies this autumn,” added Coddingtown Assistant Mall Manager Jimmy Scales.
