Man 'Acting Erratically' Near Petaluma Starbucks Arrested

The Rohnert Park male, 34, faces resisting arrest and probation violations.

Officers arrested a man in Petaluma Monday for resisting an officer and for violation of probation, according to a Petaluma police spokesman.

Nathan Hanoum, 34, from Rohnert Park, was brought to the police’s attention by citizens who said he was acting strangely while possibly being under the influence of a narcotic, Petaluma police Sgt. Ron Klein said.

Responding officers found Hanoum near a Putnam Plaza Starbucks “yelling and acting erratically,” and when they attempted to contact him, he fled on foot southward down Petaluma Boulevard, police said.
