Man Allegedly Tried to Lure Girl Into Car: Rohnert Park Police

The 10-year-old girl was walking home from school when the alleged incident happened.

Rohnert Park Police are advising local residents that a man tried to lure a 10 year old girl into his car as she was walking home from Waldo Rohnert Elementary.

Police released information about the alleged incident, which happened on Oct. 1.

According to police, at around 3:15 p.m., ”While the student was walking home in the area of Beverly Drive and Barry Court a dark colored 4-door sedan stopped near the student. The male driver asked the student multiple times if she wanted a ride, which the student declined each time. The solo male driver was described as an Asian male adult approximately 20-30 years old. The sedan left the area when another vehicle pulled up behind it.”
