Man Stabbed During Parking-Lot Fight

The victim, 39, suffered several stab wounds to his back, police said.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA – A 39-year-old stabbing victim was treated at a hospital this morning for injuries sustained in a brawl in a parking lot near Sebastopol Road in Santa Rosa, according to police.

A Santa Rosa officer, on an unrelated case at Memorial Hospital at 1165 Montgomery Drive, was flagged down at about 3:42 a.m. regarding the injured party, who suffered several, non-life-threatening stab wounds to his back, police said.

The victim said he was in unknown parking lot near Sebastopol when an altercation with several subjects broke out and he fought with with one of them and was stabbed, the Santa Rosa Police Department said. The involved parties fled, and the victim went to the hospital.

Police currently had no suspect description or additional information, but are continuing an investigation.
