Man Stabbed, Teen Possibly Knocked Unconscious At Santa Rosa Park
Detectives from gang crimes team investigating.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA – Police in Santa Rosa are investigating a stabbing that occurred Friday and sent a man to the hospital.
Officers with the Santa Rosa Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing at Southwest Community Park at 1698 Hearn Ave. and located a 19-year-man suffering from a stab wound, police said.
Another victim, a 16-year-old, told police he was assaulted and said he may have been knocked unconscious.

The pair was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police said the victims were in the gazebo area at the park when several suspects approached them.

The victims were not forthcoming with additional information, police said.
Detectives from the Gang Crimes Team and Violent Crimes Investigations Team were called to take over the investigation.
Police said the incident appears to be a targeted and gang-related attack and not a random act of violence.
