Man Suspected Of Child Trafficking In Rohnert Park Arrested

ROHNERT PARK-COTATI, CA — A Rohnert Park operation aimed at catching people seeking to sexually exploit minors ended with investigators arresting a suspect on human trafficking, lewd conduct, and controlled substance charges involving a minor.

Police arrest Franklin James Rockwell on suspicion human trafficking of a minor, arranging a meeting with a minor for lewd purposes, and a controlled substance offense involving a minor, according to Rohnert Park police.

The department conducted the operation Aug. 20, focusing on identifying people seeking to exploit minors for commercial sexual activity and other criminal conduct.

Investigators identified Rockwell as a suspect during the operation.
