Man's Sexual Comments Frighten Girl, 14, At Santa Rosa Bus Stop: Police
BREAKING: Police say the child annoyance incident occurred Monday morning.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Santa Rosa police alerted the community Monday about an alleged child annoyance incident involving a man who made verbal sexual advances toward a 14-year-old girl at a Bennett Valley bus stop. The girl reported the incident to police, telling officers that as she waited for a bus around 7:30 a.m. Monday at Bennett Valley Road and Santa Rosa Avenue, a man approached her and asked her age, said Santa Rosa police Sgt. David Linscomb.
The girl said she ignored the man but he continued his verbal advances and asked if he could sit next to her. When she told him no, he became insistent, Linscomb said.
"He then used sexually explicit profanity to describe sexual acts he wanted to do to her," Linscomb said.
