A man who purchased a winning scratcher ticket in Sonoma is taking home $1 million, according to California Lottery officials.

Rogelio Espinoza won the largest amount possible by buying a California Black Exclusive scratcher, officials said.
The ticket was purchased at Boyes Food Center and Deli at 18285 Highway 12.

That retailer will receive a selling bonus of $5,000 - which is separate from Espinoza’s winnings, according to lottery officials.
Boyes Food Center and Deli will be added to the California Lottery’s Lucky Retailers list due to the high-profile nature of Espinoza’s winning ticket, officials said.
