Miracle League North Bay Breaks Ground on 2 Million Dollar Baseball Field and Playground

First baseball field and playground for children and adults with disabilities in Northern California

On Monday, September 11th, Miracle League North Bay held a ground breaking ceremony at Lucchesi Park in Petaluma, CA to celebrate the start of construction for the first baseball field and playground for children and adults with disabilities in Northern California. In attendance were Petaluma city officials and Miracle League North Bay partners and supporters. The 2 million dollar project will be constructed in two phases.

• Phase one is the construction of the playground, in partnership with PG&E, KaBOOM, Ghilotti Construction, Team Ghilotti, V. Dolan Trucking, The Northern Californian Engineering Contractors Association, and hundreds of volunteers, to be completed on September 30th.

• Phase two is the construction of the custom-designed, rubberized baseball field, snack shack and bathrooms to be completed in Spring of 2018.
