Jones’ wallet and personal belongings were found locked inside the SUV, Focha said. Jones’ wife reported him missing to Santa Rosa police on Friday.

The couple had moved to Santa Rosa from Southern California within the last year, Focha said. Focha said Jones might have been despondent about a relationship.
