Missing For Months: Search Continues For Rohnert Park Man
Breaking: Authorities put out a renewed call for the public's help in locating the 34-year-old, who was reported missing in February.

ROHNERT PARK, CA -- Rohnert Park public safety officers are continuing to ask the public's help locating a man missing since Feb. 12.
Fernando Ruben-Minon, 34, left his home Feb. 9 in his mother's silver Kia Soul to visit a friend in Santa Rosa, the Department of Public Safety said.
His mother received a text stating he would return Feb. 14, and when he did not return his mother filed a missing person's report on Feb. 16, police said.

Ruben-Minon is a high-functioning developmentally disabled adult who has some health concerns but did not take his medication with him, his mother told authorities.

According to Rohnert Park authorities, Ruben-Minon had contacted and stayed with some people in Clearlake, and they told police he left their house on Feb. 12. The last known phone call from Ruben-Minon’s phone was Feb. 12 to a pizza restaurant in Clearlake, authorities said.
When the car Ruben-Minon borrowed from his mother was discovered in Clearlake, a Lake County search and rescue team scoured that area, KRON4 reported. Authorities believe the vehicle had been there for several days before it was discovered, according to the news report.
Last week, Rohnert Park police put out a renewed call for the public's help in locating Ruben-Minon.
Anyone who has seen the missing man recently was asked to call Lake County Sheriff's Office Dispatch at 707-263-2690.
