More Than 4K Without Power In Sonoma County

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — An power outage affecting more than 4,000 Pacific Gas and Electric Company customers Wednesday in the Sebastopol area of Sonoma County may have been caused by the weather, the utility reported.

The outage started at 4:36 p.m. Wednesday; as of 6:13 p.m., there were 4,239 customers without electricity in Sebastopol and the nearby communities of Camp Meeker, Graton and Occidental.

Shortly before 6 p.m., an assessment crew was en route to the outage and an estimated time of restoration was yet to be announced, according to PG&E's website.
