My Daughter, My Best Friend: Rohnert Park Mother's Day Photos

ROHNERT PARK, CA — Whether it's through their personality, their looks or a combination of both, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. For Mother's Day 2018, we decided to celebrate that special bond by having Patch readers across California share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

This one shows Rohnert Park mom Michelle Phillips with her 17-year-old daughter, Jessica, in August 2017 on the first day of Jessica's junior year in high school.

"She amazes me everyday with everything she does," writes Michelle. "She is outgoing, feisty, smart and one of the most caring people I know. Being her mom is such a joy. She is not only my daughter, but my best friend."
