New 'Veritas' Sculpture & Time Capsule Ceremony Set At SRJC
The community is invited to this free event on Wednesday at Santa Rosa Junior College.

SANTA ROSA, CA – The "Veritas" sculpture and a time capsule will be unveiled Wednesday, April 18 at 12 p.m. at Santa Rosa Junior College.
“Veritas,” a sculpture intended to reflect a search for truth, is a collaboration between SRJC students, instructor Michael McGinnis, a world-renowned artist and inventor and school's Engineering Club. The engineering students designed and constructed the time capsule and the base of the sculpture, college officials said.
This event is among student-driven events celebrating SRJC's 100th anniversary, and items collected inside the time capsule are meant to reflect practical items such as newspapers, photos and other such cultural items as theater tickets, clothing and music that represent the local community, according to organizers.
