New Way To Report Fireworks In Rohnert Park

Rohnert Park is no longer using the Nail 'Em app. Here's how Rohnert Park DPS says you can report illegal fireworks.

ROHNERT PARK, CA — Last year on the Fourth of July, there were 14 fires caused by fireworks in the city of Rohnert Park that were sparked by both the "Safe and Sane" type of fireworks as well as illegal fireworks, the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety said this week.

Last September, Rohnert Park voters approved Measure D which banned the sale and use of fireworks in the city.

"As you know strong fireworks are illegal in Rohnert Park, including Safe and Sane," public safety officials said. "With the drought upon us and the hot dry grass around us, please help keep Rohnert Park safe."
