Hailed by critics, audiences and nominated for nine Theatre Bay Area Awards - the 2014 Theatre at Large Marin County production of the rock musical “Next to Normal” has a special encore presentation of six performances on the main stage at Spreckels in Rohnert Park, featuring the original Theatre at Large cast.
A veritable roller-coaster of a show, this Tony Award, Pulitzer Prize-winning musical follows the story of a woman whose bi-polar disorder has dramatic effects on her family.With soaring melodies and an emotionally charged score, “Next to Normal” features the full power of musical theater to tell a relevant, transcendent story that leaves audiences riveted, breathless and profoundly moved.
