The victim was a man in his 50s, Santa Rosa police said.

SANTA ROSA, CA — A pedestrian was struck and killed Monday night on a Santa Rosa overpass.
The Santa Rosa Police Department was alerted at 10:56 p.m. Monday about a collision involving a pedestrian and a car on the Stony Point Road state Highway 12 overcrossing.
Personnel with the city's police, fire and EMS responded and found a 2012 Nissan Altima sedan was traveling south on the overcrossing and hit a man who was walking across the overcrossing from the west side, SRPD Sgt. Christopher Mahurin said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene by an SRFD medic.
"The pedestrian is an adult male in his mid to late 50s, but officials are still attempting to positively identify him," Mahurin said Tuesday.
The woman driving the Nissan was cooperating with the investigation, police said.
Investigators did not immediately believe drugs, alcohol or the driver's speed were factors.
The investigation was ongoing; police asked anyone who witnessed the crash or has information about it to contact Santa Rosa PD Accident Investigator, Officer Riley Howard at 707-543-3636.
