Police Arrest Probation Violator Near Rohnert Park School Campus

ROHNERT PARK-COTATI, CA — Police arrested a Santa Rosa man on a probation violation after reports that he followed a parent and child walking to John Reed Elementary School and later appeared on the campus of Technology High School, authorities said.

Rohnert Park police received a report of a man trailing a parent and child near the elementary school. Police were unable to find him during a search of the area.

Moments later, staff at Technology High School reported the same man on campus.

An officer patrolling nearby on an Enduro dual-sport motorcycle spotted the individual and took him into custody, police said.

Authorities arrested him for violating probation. Police have not announced additional charges related to the reports near the schools.
