Redwood Credit Union (RCU) is now sponsoring holiday food and toy donation programs in all of its North Bay and San Francisco branch locations. Branches will be collecting new, unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items now through December 13, for holiday distribution by local non-profit agencies. In Sonoma County, gift drives will support the Sonoma County Volunteer Center’s Secret Santa Program, and food donations will support the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
“We are pleased to offer our branches as convenient holiday food and gift collection sites to support our local nonprofits and make the holidays a little brighter for those in need,” said Brett Martinez, RCU’s President & CEO. “For more than 20 years, it’s been our tradition to partner with reputable local nonprofits to host annual food and gift drives that benefit the communities we serve, and we’re very thankful to those who give so generously to those less fortunate during the holiday season.”
