Redwood Drive Market in Rohnert Park Robbed

The Easy Stop Market on Redwood Drive in Rohnert Park was robbed by a male suspect Friday around 5 p.m., according to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety.

Police said the man waited for current customers to leave the store then approached the clerk at the counter and demanded money from the register.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, with brown hair and brown eyes, between 20 and 30 years old, 6 feet tall and around 180 pounds.

He was wearing a gray baseball hat backwards, a black, short-sleeve t-shirt that was hanging down to his knees, dark colored jeans, that were rolled up at the bottom, and dark colored shoes, police said.

He may have been with another suspect, who was described as a heavy-set African-American male wearing a white, short-sleeve t-shirt.

They were last seen fleeing west on Laguna Drive and may be associated with a 2000-era green convertible BMW, police said.
