Registered Sex Offender Compliance Check Nets 2 Arrests
A third registered sex offender living in Rohnert Park was being investigated for a possible probation violation.
ROHNERT PARK, CA—Two registered sex offenders were arrested Friday during a compliance check in the city of Rohnert Park.
Law enforcement with the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety, the Sonoma County Probation Department and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Parole Division workd together to check the compliance of 30 registered sex offenders living in the city.
Rohnert Park police arrested Enzo Rafelly Oliva, 20, on suspicion of attempted sexual exploitation of a child by trying to exchange child pornography and for violating his probation.

Paul Michael Giro, 45, was arrested by Sonoma County Probation on suspicion of a probation violation.
A third registered sex offender is being investigated for a possible parole violation following Friday's operation.

According to Rohnert Park police, the city has a 100 percent compliance rate among registered sex offenders.
"As a result of diligence and collaboration of these agencies, we are able to hold these offenders accountable when they are not abiding by their terms and conditions set forth by their formal supervision and registration requirements," Rohnert Park DPS said.
