Report: Petaluma Crash Triggers Power Outage

The collision occurred Saturday afternoon at about 4:15 p.m.

A vehicle accident in Petaluma on Saturday started three small fires and knocked out power to over 100 PG&E customers, the Santa Rosa Press Democrat Reports.

A motorist crashed into a power pole at Stage Gulch Road and Lakeville Highway about 4:15 p.m., the report said.

The crash knocked down power lines, Petaluma Fire Battalion Chief Russ Rasmussen told the Press Democrat.

The collision left 133 PG&E customers without power at first, the report said. All but 23 customers had their power restored by 9:30 p.m.
