Rohnert Park Bank Robbed, Police Say
The bank robbery happened Tuesday at 1:08 p.m.; police are looking for the robber and have provided a physical description.

ROHNERT PARK, CA — A Rohnert Park bank was robbed Tuesday and a search is underway for the robber, according to police. The bank robbery happened at 1:08 p.m. at Westamerica Bank, 300 Rohnert Park Expressway, said Lt. Kelly Koffler of the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety.
An unknown white male suspect "handed the teller a note saying he was armed and demanding money," Koffler said.
However, no weapon was displayed, the lieutenant said.

The robber was last seen walking out of the bank heading west with an undisclosed amount of stolen money, according to police.
The robber is described as a white man with a stocky build who appeared to be between 35 and 45 years old. He was wearing a black jacket, eyeglasses and a brown-and-white baseball hat, Koffler said.
