Rohnert Park To Hold Free Halloween Carnival

The event is rain or shine.

ROHNERT PARK, CA — The city of Rohnert Park invites residents to a free Halloween carnival Saturday at the Rohnert Park Community Center, 5401 Snyder Lane.

Activities include carnival games, haunted maze, performances, magic show, balloon animals, lawn games, crafts, pumpkin walk and costume parade. A deejay will provide music, and vendors will sell food, beer and wine. There will be community altars celebrating Dia de los Muertos.

There's going to be a baby kangaroo (and some of its friends the snapping turtle, sloth, and alligator, among others), according to the city.

The event runs from noon until 5 p.m., rain or shine.

The majority of the carnival is outside. Masks are required while in line or when guests cannot maintain 6 feet of distance from people outside of their household. Masks are required for all indoor activities.
