Rohnert Park Man Killed in Collision Sunday Evening
The accident was near Grange Road in Santa Rosa.

The Sonoma County coroner’s office has identified a driver who was killed in a collision Sunday evening as 62-year-old James Godsey of Rohnert Park.
Godsey was driving a 2004 Hyundai Sonata west on Bennett Valley Road about a mile west of Grange Road at about 5:50 p.m. when he tried to pass another westbound vehicle, California Highway Patrol officials said.
Godsey lost control of the Hyundai when he drove across the double-yellow line on a curve, according to the CHP. The Hyundai spun clockwise and spun perpendicular to the road when it was struck on the driver’s side by an eastbound 2000 Dodge Neon, CHP officials said.
