A Rohnert Park Mom And Her Teacher Daughter: Mother's Day Photos

ROHNERT PARK, CA — Whether it's through their personality, their looks or a combination of both, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. For Mother's Day 2018, we decided to celebrate that special bond by having Patch readers across California share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

This one shows Amanda Yerion, left, 25, of Sacramento, and her mother, Shelli Colmenero, 50, a Rohnert Park native.

"She is a Sac State graduate and first year fourth-grade teacher," writes Shelli, about her daughter. "Spending time in her class watching her teach made me very aware of how similar we are and how I was as a parent. There was no fooling around when there was work to do!"
