Officers are investigating a suspicious incident in Rohnert Park after a woman reported that a man tried to lure her into his truck.

ROHNERT PARK, CA - Officers are investigating a suspicious incident that happened Saturday morning in Rohnert Park after a woman reported that a man tried to lure her into his truck as she was walking.
Around 9 a.m., a 22-year-old woman was walking near Southwest Boulevard and College View Drive when a man in a pickup truck pulled up, according to officials with the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety.
The man allegedly made comments about the woman's appearance and told her that she should not walk alone. Although the man made no efforts to force the woman in the truck, he repeatedly asked her to get in, RPDPS officials said.

The same woman also reported a similar suspicious incident more than a week ago, involving a different suspect, RPDPS officials said.
In that incident, a different man approached a juvenile girl at a bus stop near Adrian Drive and Southwest Boulevard. The man repeatedly asked the girl to get in the car, but did not force her. The girl did not get in the car and the man eventually left, RPDPS officials said.
He was described as a Hispanic man, between 30 and 40 years old, driving a white four-door sedan with a long hood, according to RPDPS officials.
Anyone with information about the identities of either of the men is asked to contact Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety at (707) 584-2600.
