Rohnert Park Robbery Results In 3 Gun-Related Arrests
Investigators served a search warrant and took three people into custody on suspicion of multiple firearm charges.

ROHNERT PARK, CA — Three people were arrested Sunday when the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety served a search warrant in connection with an armed robbery.
The robbery victim called police Friday morning and reported they were at a party Thursday night in Rohnert Park when the suspect picked them up in the suspect's car and drove a short distance, then produced a handgun and demanded the victim's bag which had an undisclosed amount of money in it.
Investigators determined the suspect lived in an unincorporated area of Santa Rosa and served a warrant at 9:15 a.m. Sunday at the suspect's residence.

Rohnert Park detectives and officers searched the home and found five handguns, numerous high-capacity handgun and assault rifle magazines, ammunition, assault rifle parts, and cash, Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety Spokesperson J.P. Pritchard said in a news release.
"Some of the recovered firearms were found to be illegally modified to be fully automatic, and some of the firearms did not have serial numbers (firearms without serial numbers are often referred to as “ghost guns”)," Pritchard said.

As a result of the search warrant, two juveniles and one adult were taken into custody without incident at the residence.
A 17-year-old Santa Rosa boy was arrested on suspicion of one felony count of robbery, one felony count of minor in possession of a firearm, four felony counts of possession of a machine gun, one misdemeanor count of minor in possession of ammunition, and one misdemeanor count of possession of an unserialized firearm.
A 16-year-old Santa Rosa boy was arrested on suspicion of one felony count of minor in possession of a firearm, four felony counts of possession of a machine gun, one misdemeanor count of minor in possession of ammunition, and one misdemeanor count of possession of an unserialized firearm.
Ricardo Navarete, a 34-year old Santa Rosa man, was arrested on suspicion of four felony counts of possession of a machine gun, one misdemeanor count of possession of a non-serialized firearm, and one misdemeanor count of possession of medication without a prescription.
The two juveniles were being held at Sonoma County Juvenile Hall.
Navarete was booked into the Sonoma County jail where his bail was set at $25,000.
