ROHNERT PARK, CA — A dog died and two people were displaced in an RV fire Wednesday in Rohnert Park, the city's Department of Public Safety said in a news release.

Firefighters were on scene within two minutes and contained the fire to the RV.
The two people who lived in the RV were found nearby and due to the loss of their home, were offered resources through Catholic Charities.
The cause of the fire was not immediately determined but the residents said they may have left a candle burning inside.
Police and fire personnel notified the property owner, who was working to remove the burned-out RV.
"Our condolences go out to the occupants during this difficult time," the Department of Public Safety said.
