Santa Rosa Man Suffers Major Injuries In Head-On Crash
A Santa Rosa man suffered major injuries in a head-on collision south of Santa Rosa Wednesday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.

SANTA ROSA - A Santa Rosa man suffered major injuries in a head-on collision south of Santa Rosa Wednesday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
Arturo Hernandez, 26, was driving a Chrysler Concord south on Santa Rosa Avenue south of Santa Rosa city limits near East Robles Avenue around 1:45 p.m. when he crossed all lanes and collided with a Dodge Durango in a northbound lane, CHP Officer Jon Sloat said.
The Dodge driver, Russell Moore, 51, of Santa Rosa, suffered moderate injuries.

Hernandez was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Officers will investigate whether Hernandez suffered a medical event before the collision, Sloat said.

The crash blocked Santa Rosa Avenue for 10-15 minutes.
