On Saturday, February 6 stop by Santa Rosa Plaza’s Center Court to celebrate “Wear Red Day” with the American Heart Association, Julie Nation Academy and Empire College during American Hearth Month.
Let’s unite to prevent heart disease and stroke. Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year – more than all cancers combined. Fortunately, we can change that because 80 percent of cardiac and stroke events may be prevented with education and action.
Empire College will be providing blood pressure screenings. Models wearing red from Julie Nation Academy with the American Heart Association will be sharing information about a free Nutrition and Heart care seminar, taught by a professional in the medical field, at a future date at the Julie Nation Academy.
