Sebastopol Man Will Stand Trial In Death Of Parents
A Sebastopol area man accused of killing his parents was ordered to stand trial after a preliminary hearing in Sonoma County Superior Court.

SANTA ROSA - A Sebastopol area man accused of killing his parents was ordered to stand trial after a preliminary hearing in Sonoma County Superior Court earlier this month.
Nathan Alexander Wilson, 34 will re-enter pleas April 27 on charges of killing David Wilson, 66, and Adrianne Chapin, 60, on Nov. 23 at the family's home on Sexton Road in the Twin Hills area of unincorporated Sonoma County.
The complaint also alleges a special circumstance of slaying multiple victims.

The couple were fatally wounded by a sharp object and a sword was found at the scene, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office.
Wilson's uncle reported the slayings around 9:30 a.m. and identified Wilson was the suspect. He said Wilson likely left the property in a black 2006 Toyota truck.

The Mendocino County Sheriff's Office spotted Wilson's black truck on Tomki Road in the Redwood Valley area later that afternoon.
Ukiah police contacted a man matching Wilson's description walking near the Mendo Mill and Lumber Company, and identified Wilson from the driver's license in his pocket.

Friends of the family said Wilson's parents struggled with their son's and their daughter's mental illness.
"No one knows what it was all about," Wilson's attorney Kristine Burk said regarding the slayings.
