Second Victim In Shooting Near Forestville Marijuana Grow Dies

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A second man who was found shot near Forestville Friday evening has died after being taken off life support, a Sonoma County sheriff's sergeant said. The shooting was reported around 6:40 p.m. at River Road and Trenton-Healdsburg Road near a marijuana grow, Sgt. Spencer Crum said.

Theros Fountaine, 46, of Santa Rosa, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, identified by authorities as Thomas William Miller, 46, of Santa Rosa, was taken by medical helicopter to a hospital where he died after donating his organs, Crum said.

Investigators believe the homicides were marijuana-related, Crum said.
