Songwriter Steve Taylor-Ramirez at Northwest Regional Library, Santa Rosa

Berkeley songwriter/guitarist Steve
Taylor-Ramirez plays a set of his original music at the Northwest
Regional Library, 50 Coddingtown Ctr., Santa Rosa, starting at 2:00
pm.

Named a “Critic's Choice” by the
Bay Area News Group, East Bay Express and UC Berkeley, Taylor-Ramirez
mixes folk-rock, Latin, Americana and blues in a manner that
listeners say crosses boundaries.

“Steve is developing a new musical
genre,” said Dj Nobody of KUSF radio, San Francisco. “His songs
are about things that are important … plus, he’s an awesome
guitar player with his own style.” “A very accomplished
musician,” said Steven Suen, owner of Biscuits & Blues in San
Francisco.

Or, as Michael Wolff – jazz
pianist/composer, former music director for Nancy Wilson & the
Arsenio Hall Show – said: “Steve's killin' it!”

A former guitarist for the house band
at an Oakland church, Taylor-Ramirez plays regularly at popular Bay
Area venues, and his songs have aired on local radio and television
stations. His music, videos, reviews and bio can be found at
