Sonoma Co. Man Jailed On $1 Million Bail For Attempted Murder In Forestville
The shooting incident was Wednesday night. The victim is hospitalized.

A 48-year-old Forestville man on Wednesday night was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after allegedly shooting another man in Forestville, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called at approximately 9:50 p.m. to a home on the 9000 block of Rio Del Court where the victim was found suffering from several gunshot wounds, and Eric Joseph Justensen, also at the scene, was determined to be the shooter, officials said.
The shooting victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to survive, deputies said, adding that he will be interviewed when his medical condition improves.

Justensen was was booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility on suspicion of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon/firearm and felony child endangerment, deputies said. He is being held on $1 million bail.
He will be arraigned Friday at 1:30 p.m. in courtroom 9.
Detectives are continuing their investigation and are seeking witnesses who may have been at the scene during the shooting but left prior to deputies’ arrival.
