Sonoma Co. Man Perishes In Motor Home Fire On Hwy 116

The Sonoma County coroner’s office has identified a man who died in a motor home fire in Sonoma County on Sunday morning as Todd Kneeland, 46, of Sonoma.

The motor home was reported on fire on state Highway 116 east of Petaluma in unincorporated Sonoma County near County Dump Road around 7:50 a.m., California Highway Patrol officials said.

Kneeland was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:59 a.m., according to the coroner’s office.

The incident closed Highway 116 between Watmaugh and Adobe roads until 12:15 p.m.
