Sonoma County Employee Injured In Robbery
The incident happened at the Shell Gas Station at 777 Steele Lane.

SANTA ROSA, CA -- A gas station clerk was injured when a man with a knife robbed the station Sunday morning, Santa Rosa police said. Someone called police at 8:37 a.m. to report the robbery at the Shell Gas Station at 777 Steele Lane.
Police said the suspect entered the store, waved a knife and demanded money.
The suspect took the money in the cash register and ran out of the store toward In-N-Out Burger.

The clerk's hand was injured in the robbery. He was treated at the gas station.
Police said they searched for the suspect but were not able to find him.

Police described the suspect as a black man in his 30s or 40s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with short black hair and facial stubble. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
