Sonoma County Man With 3 DUI's In 10 Years Sentenced To 6 Years In Prison

A Sonoma County man with three DUI convictions in the past 10 years was sentenced to six years in prison.

SANTA ROSA - A Sonoma County man with three DUI convictions in the past 10 years was sentenced to six years in prison Friday in Sonoma County Superior Court.

William Alexander Andes, 39, was arrested Jan. 10, 2015, in Cotati when he was seen weaving in his vehicle on U.S. Highway 101.

His blood alcohol level was 0.21 percent, the Sonoma County District Attorney's Office said.

Andes failed to complete a rehabilitation program when he left without permission, Sonoma County District Attorney Jill Ravitch said.

Andes served three prior prison terms and was arrested for DUI in Sonoma in November 2010 and in Contra Costa County in September 2006, Chief Deputy District Attorney Brian Staebell said.
