Suspect Sought In Santa Rosa Bank Robbery

A reward of up to $2,500 is offered for information that leads to the arrest of the robber.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A reward is offered for information that leads to the arrest of a man who robbed a bank Wednesday in Santa Rosa.

The bank robbery was reported at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at Exchange Bank, 499 Stony Point Road, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.

"The suspect produced a note, demanded money, and fled from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash," Santa Rosa police Sgt. Brandon Matthies said. "No one was injured inside of the bank during the robbery."

The robber was described as a Hispanic or White man in his late 30s who is between 5 feet 5 and 5 feet 7 inches tall and has a medium build. He was wearing a black baseball hat, a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a black Gator-style face mask and gray athletic shoes.

Police provided a surveillance image of the suspect and asked anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information that would assist with the investigation to contact SRPD through its online Tip Line or by calling 707-543-3590.

A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered by the Sonoma County Alliance Community Engagement and Safety Rewards Fund for information leading to the arrest of the robber.
