Suspicious Male Harassing Female Pedestrians in Rohnert Park
Police are turning to the public to see if anyone may recognize the suspect's description.

From the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety:
On 01/28/15, a 14-year-old female reported that a male pulled up next to her while she was walking to school on Cala Way in Rohnert Park at approximately 8:30am, asked her for directions to the freeway, and then asked her to get into his car to show him how to get there.
Other juveniles walked up to the girl, and then the male drove off.

She said that she saw him again shortly after driving on East Cotati Avenue, and he stared at her as he drove past, so she ran to school because she became afraid.
On 02/10/15, a female college student reported a male pulled up to her as she was jogging in the “M” Section of Rohnert Park at approximately 1:30pm, and began to ask her if she could give him directions.

She recognized the male as the same subject who had pulled up to her in the same area about a month prior, asking if she was a Sonoma State Student, and if she wanted a ride or could give him directions.
When he began asking if she could give him directions this time, she told him no and got on her cell phone, then he drove away.
Both females described the subject as a Hispanic male in his 20s or 30s, with black hair, a heavy-set round face and a thin beard.
And on Jan. 28, he was wearing black-rimmed glasses, and the vehicle he was driving was described as a dark gray, newer four- door sedan with chrome factory wheels and tinted rear windows.
On the 10th, he was described as driving an early 2000s black Honda Civic.
Another 14-year-old female, who is friends with the girl that reported the incident on the 28th, said that a similarly described male pulled up next to her as she was walking to school on East Cotati Avenue about four months ago and began asking her if she wanted a ride to school.
Please be aware of this subject, and if anyone has any information about his identity call the Rohnert Park Dept. of Public Safety Investigations Bureau at (707)584-2630.
If anyone else is approached by this subject, please immediately call the RPDPS Dispatch Center at (707)584-2611 and attempt to get a license plate number of his vehicle.
