TAIKOZ in Concert – Asian Thunder From The Land Down Under

Don’t miss this one of a kind opportunity! TaikOz is a preeminent Japanese taiko drumming
ensemble from Australia.  They travel to the USA for the first time to
present concerts featuring their works for Taiko and Shakuhachi.  

TaikOz: Drawing on their extensive collective
experience in Japanese traditional music and dance, symphonic and contemporary music, TaikOz has developed a unique sound and approach to wadaiko. With over 25 original works including several in combination with instruments such as
shakuhachi, koto, marimba, saxophone, cello and didgeridoo as well as
collaborations with taiko legends Kodo, the Bell Shakespeare Company,
choreographer Meryl Tankard and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, TaikOz presents works that will enlighten, challenge and inspire. Note: Campus Parking $5

There will also be a dress rehearsal matinee show at 2:30 on the same day.

Advance ticket prices are $20 for the 2:30 show and $30 for the 7:00 show.  There will be $50 VIP package ("Meet the Artists")  available for the 7:00 show.
