Teen Driver In BMW Jetting Across HWY-101 Arrested
CHP arrested a high-speed teen driver swerving through traffic on US-101 in a BMW.
ROHNERT PARK-COTATI, CA — A 16-year-old who tore through northbound US-101 in Rohnert Park, reaching speeds of 130 MPH while weaving between cars in heavy traffic, was arrested by CHP.
Traffic was heavy at the time, according to the California Highway Patrol, and the teen started zipping through lanes and dodging other vehicles.
A CHP-Santa Rosa officer pulled over the BMW and arrested the teen for reckless driving, towing the vehicle from the scene.
