The Power of Prayer: Taking Us from Mistakes to Milk and Honey

Prayer is not for a special class of people.  It is for everyday, common people like you and me.  God uses common people to pray and causes uncommon miracles to happen from that prayer.

Moses was a common criminal, a sheepherder, a common man who still prayed even when he failed in the common things in life.  In Exodus. 3:2, God appears to Moses in a common bush , one common day, and everything changes for Moses.

God calls us to pray on common days.  In Exodus and the story of Moses, God is saying, “Here I am in common things", and that He has come to deliver those commoners in bondage to the land of milk and honey. (Exodus 3:8)

Prayer changes common things into events with God.  Psalm 118:24 says, “This is the day the Lord has made.  I will pray and be glad in it” because God uses the common person!  He uses you and me.

I have no right to disqualify myself from praying because I, a common man, may have failed in some way.

God is in our common issues of life, preparing us to pray, taking us from mistakes to milk and honey.
