Thieves Smashing Windows To Break Into Cars: Rohnert Park Public Safety
Breaking: Rohnert Park is experiencing an increase in vehicle burglaries, authorities said Wednesday.

ROHNERT PARK, CA -- Residents of Rohnert Park were advised Wednesday of a recent uptick in vehicle burglaries, with the culprits allegedly smashing windows as their primary method.
Officials with Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety issued a statement of caution to community members, saying residents can help reduce the risk of becoming a victim of such break-ins by not leaving items visible in their vehicle and by parking in a well-lit area.
Elsewhere in the Bay Area, the Benicia Police Department on Tuesday reported at least 10 recent incidences involving broken and smashed car windows.
