Three Injured In Kenwood Area Head-On Collision

The accident was on Highway 12. CHP said one driver suffered critical injuries.

Three people suffered major injuries in a head-on collision between an SUV and a food truck in Kenwood Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred shortly before 10:30 a.m. Friday when the driver of a westbound 2001 Chevy Suburban on state Highway 12 east of Warm Springs Road crossed over the double yellow lines into eastbound traffic, the CHP said.

The Suburban crashed head on into an eastbound food truck with two men inside, the CHP said. The men in the food truck and the Suburban’s sole occupant and driver were taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major injuries.
