Enhancements to Snyder Lane and Rohnert Park Expressway

The City of Rohnert Park wants to make it easy for residents and businesses to stay informed about construction activity and ensure that you have the most current information. Below are some helpful tips for navigating through the following areas next week:

Snyder Lane

Beginning next week, Monday, June 8 through August 16, Snyder Lane will be CLOSED from Copeland Creek Bridge to Southwest Boulevard. See details below for alternative access to properties in the area. Work hours are anticipated Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the closure with possible work on Saturdays. The road will remain closed during non-working hours as well.

Access plans are as follows: Rancho Cotate High School (RCHS)

Motorists traveling to Rancho Cotate High School and surrounding businesses and residences will be detoured for access.

Northbound traffic on Snyder Lane is closed. Motorists will enter Rancho Cotate HS from Southwest Blvd and Snyder Lane intersection.

Traveling from the North to RCHS

From Rohnert Park Expressway, traveling west toward Snyder, take a right at Country Club Drive. Follow Country Club Drive to Southwest Boulevard and take a left. Follow Southwest Boulevard to Snyder Lane. Access will be made available to Rancho Cotate High School at this intersection.

Traveling from the South to RCHS

From Petaluma Hill Road, take a left on East Cotati Avenue. Follow East Cotati to Snyder Lane. This portion of Snyder will remain open. Take a right on Snyder and follow it north to the Southwest Boulevard intersection. Access will be made available to Rancho Cotate High School at this intersection.

Local businesses

During this time, motorists traveling to surrounding businesses will be detoured from Camino Corto onto a Southbound access lane on Snyder. Leaving the establishment, traffic will exit the business by turning right onto the same access lane and right again onto Southwest Boulevard. This detour has been designated for local businesses only.
