Traffic Alert: Gas Leak In Rohnert Park

A vehicle smashed into a high-pressure gas main at Glenn Manor Apartments.

ROHNERT PARK, CA -- People in Rohnert Park should avoid the area of 6930 Commerce Boulevard Saturday morning because of a gas leak, safety officials said. A vehicle smashed into a high-pressure gas main at Glenn Manor Apartments, the apartment complex at this address, causing the leak, the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety said around 9 a.m.

Safety workers evacuated all the residents of the apartment complex, and Pacific Gas and Electric crews are at work making repairs, according to the department.

Rohnert Park firefighters are standing by for precautionary measures, the department said.

No one was hurt when the vehicle hit the gas main, according to the department.

There is no estimate currently as to how long repairs will take.
