Traffic Alert: Major Crash Closes South Santa Rosa Roadways

Santa Rosa police asked motorists to stay away from the area of Stony Point Road and Hearn Avenue. The roadways have since reopened.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Roads in the area of Stony Point Road and Hearn Avenue in South Santa Rosa were reopened Monday afternoon after being closed because of a "major traffic collision." SRPD advised at 3:16 p.m. that officers on scene investigating the crash, which involved four cars.

"Roads in the area are closed," police said. "For your safety, please stay out of the area."

In an update at 3:54 p.m., police said Stony Point Road had since reopened between Barndance and Hearn Avenue.

Details about the wreck were not immediately available.
